Graham De Roy, Chairman
Graham has over 30 years experience in the property and construction insurance industry. He is a director of Griffiths & Armour, an FCA authorised insurance broker. He principally advises construction clients, local authorities and funding institutions on risk identification, management and transfer.
He is a member of both the Society of Construction Law and the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Graham De Roy is a keen West Ham United fan and enjoys playing golf and running.
Feargal Ward, MD
Feargal’s housing career spans over 30 years, covering housing management, maintenance and business development. He worked for Genesis Housing Association for over 24 years and during this time was Managing Director of Pathmeads Housing Association (subsidiary of Genesis), Divisional Director of Genesis Housing Association and New Business Director, leaving in 2013 to work as a consultant developing Build to Rent.
He has a history of successful change management, embedding cultural and performance management systems.
He has established entrepreneurial and commercial skills, successfully entering new markets and developing new products e.g. contract management, temporary housing, key worker accommodation and PRS.
David joined GL Hearn in November 2006 following 21 years operating in the residential estate agency sector in Central London. David has extensive experience in marketing new build homes both in London and the Far East and was responsible for pioneering major launches of London developments in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Taipei.
He has provided consultancy to developers on potential sites and refurbishment projects. Alongside the development work, David continues to utilise his valuation experience to provide valuations for various companies across the London market.
Andy went straight into the British Army from school at the age of 16 and served 4 years in the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards, serving 2 active tours of Northern Ireland and served in Germany.
Being an active footballer in the Army he played for the Battalion and for the Combined Services, he continued playing when he left the Army at a semi professional level but injury forced him to give up in 1990. He has been involved in property development, land purchasing and construction since 2000 and currently works as a Commercial Director for a development organisation, specialising in volumetric construction.
When approached to take up a role within the Housing Association, he was extremely honoured as the Military is still a big part of his life and to be able to help and support ex-service personnel gives him a great deal of satisfaction and pleasure.
Andy is a family man and a huge follower of Chelsea Football Club.
As Managing Director of JW Hughes Building Contractors, Jon has almost 30 years of experience within the building and development industry. He has generated working coalitions with numerous London Borough councils, charitable organisations, private developers, architects and surveyors and JW Hughes Ltd is affiliated with a number of industry bodies.
Jon is a family man; he and his wife have 3 adult sons and enjoy socialising with friends and his extended family. Any free time is spent travelling and following many sporting activities.
Vincent has operated in the commercial property industry since 2005, acting for a wide range of clients ranging from pension funds, listed companies, private clients, investors, developers and businesses. He has been providing strategic advice for development, leasing, disposal and acquisition of commercial property whilst also carrying out marketing campaigns and negotiating transactions through to completion.
Development has been a key part of Vincent’s career and he has been involved in the disposal and acquisitions of many development sites across Central and SE London for niche developers extending to main stream house builders and Housing Associations.
Vincent is married and is an avid supporter at Arsenal Football Club.
Antony Stark has over 20 years’ experience in the housing sector. His knowledge and understanding of the market is diverse and enables him to make fast and informed decisions which are beneficial to all of the projects he is involved with.
Having qualified as a General Practice Chartered Surveyor in 2001 Gavin has worked with Aitchision Raffety and Capital and Counties specialising in Asset Management work. Most recently Gavin was a Director at Paramount Investments a niche Land Consultancy firm in North-West London advising clients on the acquisition and disposal of land for redevelopment.
